Pericem is a two-paste surgical dressing designed for use after periodontal surgeries to provide safe, local protection for surgical wounds.It serves as a physical barrier that keeps the surgical site clean and protects sutures from irritation, food debris, or infections during the healing process.Because it is non-eugenol, it does not irritate the oral mucosa, making it a more comfortable option for patients compared to traditional eugenol-based dressings.

  • Non-Eugenol Formulation: Guarantees a non-irritating application that minimizes patient discomfort and avoids the strong smell and potential tissue irritation associated with eugenol.
  • Two-Paste System: Consists of a base paste (90g) and an accelerator paste (90g) that are mixed in equal lengths at the time of use.
  • Excellent Plasticity: Once mixed, the material has a smooth texture and high plasticity, allowing it to be easily shaped into a roll and adapted around the teeth and surgical site.
  • Fast Setting Time: The cement has a working time of approximately 30 to 45 seconds and sets completely within 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Biocompatible & Antibacterial: Acts as an antibacterial barrier that supports the natural healing environment.
