Hand Use Reamers are manufactured by twisting a triangular or square stainless steel or Nickel-Titanium (NiTi) wire into a sharp, open-spiral configuration. Unlike K-files, which have a tighter spiral for a filing (scraping) motion, reamers are specifically designed for a reaming (rotational) action. This open-flute design makes them exceptionally efficient at removing dentin and debris while scouting the canal and preparing it for further shaping.

Features
Open Spiral Configuration: Features fewer twists per unit length than a K-file, creating more space between flutes for the efficient removal of debris and dentin shavings.
Triangular Cross-Section: Provides high cutting efficiency and superior flexibility, allowing the instrument to follow canal curvatures more easily.
High-Quality Stainless Steel: Offers excellent durability and lateral stiffness, which is essential for scouting calcified canals and bypassing obstructions.
Rotational Cutting Action: Optimized for use with a clockwise "quarter-turn and pull" motion, which effectively cuts dentin from the canal walls.
Non-Cutting Safety Tip: Guides the instrument smoothly along the canal's natural anatomy, reducing the risk of ledging or apical transportation.
